Branden Haynes
Chief Executive Officer, Director and Founder
As Company founder, Mr. Haynes has guided Hawkmoon Resources through the initial financing phases, project acquisitions, deployment of exploration programs and development financing. Branden has 20+ years of experience in finance and the junior markets. Additionally, he is a resource professional and entrepreneur active in the exploration and mining sector for over 10 years.
George Yordanov
VP of Exploration and Director
George Yordanov has over 12 years of management, technical and exploration experience in the Canadian and international exploration industry. Mr. Yordanov is a professional geologist, an independent qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. He owns a M.Sc degree in economic geology (structural geology) and has extensive exploration experience in grassroots mining projects across Canada and essentially in the province of Quebec. He has worked for Osisko Corporation and several junior companies. His experience in grassroots exploration projects includes several major grassroots discoveries for Osisko Corporation, Kenorland Minerals, Dundee Precious Metals and others. Mr. Yordanov have developed advanced understanding of exploration for the gold, base metals and REER’s.
Olga Ankindinova
Senior Geologist and Director
Olga is a strong research-oriented professional. Demonstrated history of working in the environmental sector, university environment, Oil and Gas and Mining industries. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, followed by a Master’s degree in Marine Geology with an emphasis on stream sediment transport and accumulation. Her Ph.D. project at Memorial University of Newfoundland was focused on High-Resolution Sequence Stratigraphy of the world’s largest anoxic basin and involved work with geological, geochemical, and geophysical datasets. Her work was published in highly visible journals e.g., Marine Geology, Paleo3 and presented in national and international conferences.
During her career as a geologist, Olga worked on a number of projects contributing as a specialist in sedimentation, sequence stratigraphy, structural geology. During her Ph.D. program she worked with Husky Energy Inc. in St. John’s, in the Development Team (Offshore Newfoundland). Her projects were focused on the development optimization and assisting in well planning by focusing on geological characteristics of formation. For the last couple of years Olga worked in the research and exploration projects within the Western Canada, in the consulting and academic sectors. Olga is passionate about solving complex geological problems and paleo-reconstructions. She was twice awarded the Chevron Canada Rising Star Award. Outside her job you can meet her in the North Shore hiking, biking and skiing with her children.
Geoff Balderson
Chief Financial Officer and Director
Mr. Balderson serves as the CFO and Director of several publicly traded companies in a variety of industries and is instrumental in managing the financial operations as well as the integrated business strategies. He is the Founder and President of Harmony Corporate Services and has been involved in the public sector for 25 years, possessing a solid background in corporate compliance.
Hugh Oswald
Independent Director
Mr. Oswald has over 15 years of success in the public and private markets conducting investor relations and direct marketing. He specializes in raising capital for public companies and holds a degree from the San Diego School of Business Administration. Hugh has significant expertise in best communication practices for issuers.
Abbey Olaiya
Director and Environmental Officer
Mr. Olaiya has gained valuable experience in environmental practices through his past roles with AngloGold Ashanti Ltd and Stadlerre Renewable Energy Ltd. He holds a MBA in Project Management and Bachelor of Business Management & Administration. Mr. Olaiya is known for streamlining business operations and will provide environmental, social and governance policies for Hawkmoon.
